How long does the booking process take?

The booking process is an easy one step process that requires your basic information, booking date and a few others that will help to get you your choice of room or house in just a few clicks.

What methods of payment accepted?

We know payment processes can be a problem for some people from certain geographical locations so we accept the following payment methods

Can I use more than one payment method to pay for a reservation?

You can always use a combination of any of the payment methods listed on our site to pay and reserve a place before you arrive.

How can I cancel a reservation?

Read the cancellation policy and time period listed on any listing you are interested in. If your booking falls within the timeline for cancellation, you may do so by simply clicking on the cancellation button under your booking. If you are unable to cancel a reservation, please don’t hesitate to contact us to assist you with that.

What other services do you offer?

DASK Place is a subsidiary of DASK Immigration Services. DASK Immigration Services offers assistance to our clients with all their Canadian Immigration needs. These needs are the right visas and permits they require in order to be allowed entry to Canada or be allowed to work in Canada. Our regulated immigration consultant has the experience to help you in you need help with Canadian Visa.

We do offer tansportation services for airport pick ups, drop offs and other settlement needs of our clients. We do have our DASK Jobs portal that our clients can go to to search and apply for jobs they may qualify for.

Booking Questions

Can I make changes to a pending reservation request?

Making changes to a confirmed or pending reservation is not allowed. After a guest or a renter has booked a room or a place based on any information provided by a host, then changes to that listing is not allowed. Changes to a listing are only permitted if it has not been booked or reserved.

How do I cancel a reservation request?

Before you request to cancel a reservation, make sure you have read the cancellation policy of the listing and you are within the time limit of cancellation. If there is no cancellation policy, please remember to cancel your request 24 hours before the check-in time.

How do I check the status of my reservation?

You can always check the status of your reservation by sending us an email at info@daskplace.com if you did not receive any confirmation email from us. You may also register on our website and then use your username and password to check the status of your reservation

 

How do I find my reservation?

To find your reservation, please check the email confirmation sent to you during your booking or login in to the account online to view your reservation

When am I charged for a reservation?

When am I charged for a reservation?

Some reservations may require you to pay right away before a booking is confirmed. You will be charged the moment you check in to the property and the money will be deposited into the host’s account. If you do not show up for a booking you have paid for within 24 hours and did not cancel the reservation, then the cost of the first night will be charged or 15% of your total amount will be charged if your reservation is a monthly rental.

What happens if my host cancels my reservation?

According to DASK Place policy, hosts will have to inform guests not less than 24 hours if a confirmed reservation will have to be canceled. The cancellation  may be as a result of a circumstance beyond the control of the host. In the event of cancellation, the host will send the guest cancellation notice and DASK Place will also be notified of the cancellation. The guest an option to book a new place or get in touch with DASK for an assistance in booking a new place.

In terms of long term monthly rental bookings, the host will have to inform the guest/renter of not accepting the offer to rent for not less than a week.

What is the Resolution Center?

The Resolution Center is the mediation center that resolves any misunderstanding that may arise between the host and guest/renter. DASK Place do not have the ability to resolve legal cases that arise between the guest and host. DASK Place will not be involved in disputes that arises between a renter and a landlord after both parties have signed their lease. The Resolution Center’s responsibility is to make sure the terms and conditions are followed by both the renter and host. Please feel free to contact DASK Place if you need further assistance.

What should I do if I forgot something at a place I stayed?

You may always contact the host to arrange to pick up your item or arrange for it be sent to you. If you cannot reach the host, you are always welcome to contact us to provide you with the contact information of the host we have on file.
